Tools for Agents is a free, static directory of tools for AI agents: MCP servers, x402 pay-per-call APIs, AI dev tools with free tiers and free public APIs. It is run by FreeTier Kits, a small project that also sells datasets and runs the FreeTier Agent API (marked "Our product" wherever it appears). The site is built with AI-assisted scripts; category texts were drafted with a local open model and checked by hand.

Sources and licences

• MCP servers: punkpeye/awesome-mcp-servers, MIT licence. Descriptions are the project authors' own one-liners.
• x402 APIs: the public x402 Bazaar discovery index (Coinbase CDP), snapshot 2026-10-17T23:56Z. Names, descriptions and prices are set by each provider; call counts are as reported by the index. Testnet-only hosts are left out.
• Free public APIs: public-apis/public-apis, MIT licence, with our own automated link check (only links that answered are listed).
• AI dev tools with free tiers: our own research from provider pricing pages. Model prices: BerriAI/litellm price table, MIT licence.

The MIT licences require the copyright notice to be kept: "Copyright (c) the awesome-mcp-servers contributors / public-apis contributors / BerriAI" – full texts: awesome-mcp-servers, public-apis, litellm.

Rules

• Listing is free. Anyone can submit; we review by hand.
• Paid options only buy speed (fast-track review) or position (featured / spotlight). They are always labelled Sponsored, links carry rel="sponsored", and they never change the facts on a listing.
• No ratings, no reviews, no "verified" or "best" badges for sale.
• We remove a listing on request from its maker: tec@mail.grokbot.com.
• No personal data is listed; submitter emails are used only to answer the submission.
